Getting Ready for Surgery Again

Tomorrow Ed is to have a major surgery on his right thumb & won't be able to use it for at least 8 weeks.  Well it has been almost unusable now.  So I sewed him some slacks with elastic at the waist so he doesn't have to deal with buttons or zippers during his recovery.  They do have zippers & a hook to make them look more normal. He can start using them that way when his thumb will allow him too.  I also put elastic in his shoes so they can just be pulled on.  Yes I could help him do these things but have learn over the years people like to do for them self as much as they can. Not sure what happened to the first picture of the slacks.  Guess all of the pictures are not so great but it gives you the general idea of the items. There are 4 pairs of slacks, two are the same color, one looks like jeans & one matches his suit coat.  Also should share I happened to have all this fabric in my stash of fabric. :)
